Caribbean communities have existed in London for centuries, but it was arguably after the Second World War that migrants from British colonies began to settle in the United Kingdom in higher numbers. Memories of the Caribbean lived on in food and music. As kids growing up in London, we were always surrounded by the rich history of Jamaica and other parts of the Caribbean. One of our favorites about this culture is the delicious taste of Caribbean food infused with British influences. From Jerk Chicken to Fish and Chips, this fusion of flavors truly represents the diversity and vibrancy our city.
